I started Studio Eden in 2018 because I'd watched too many friends inherit homes that looked like a builder's spec sheet. I wanted to make a studio where I could put my hands on every project — homes, apartments, villas, retail shopfronts, restaurants, salons and offices alike.
How we got here.
2014 – Graduated from SPA Delhi with a thesis on courtyard housing in Old Delhi.
2016 – Post-graduate studies at Politecnico di Milano. Returned to NCR convinced that a small, hands-on studio was the future.
2018 – Founded Studio Eden. First projects: a friend's 2BHK in Sector 50 and a small café fit-out in Sector 18.
2021 – Moved into a real studio space. Set the cap: a deliberately small intake — every project led by Itisha personally.
Now – Eight years across Delhi NCR. 120+ projects spanning homes, apartments, villas, retail, restaurants and offices. Itisha still on every project, every site, every handover.
A home is not a portfolio piece.
We design for how people actually live — not how the photo will look on Instagram. Our handover photos are taken six months in, with kids' toys on the floor.
Constraints make better work.
Tight budget, awkward layout, weird beam — these are the briefs we love. The unconstrained ones go elsewhere.
Pricing should be boring.
We open the BOQ. You see vendor names, our markups, every line item. No 'package' nonsense, no surprise change orders at month four.
Range, not factory.
Homes one week, a salon the next, a restaurant after that. Every brief teaches the next one. We don't want to be one-trick.
Site is the design office.
Drawings lie a little. Site doesn't. We make 70% of decisions on-site, with materials in hand and natural light to see them in.
Three years, not three months.
We come back at month 6, year 1, year 3. Some things only show up later. We fix them on us.
